Like best: I booked a class for my family as a Christmas gift - Leon was very flexible with planning, and always super quick to respond to emails. We really enjoyed the class - we were greeted in Leon’s home with a beautiful cheese spread. We made both Gouda and mozzarella, and snuck in some burrata as well. Leon is full of knowledge, and it was great to learn more about how cheese is made! We are looking forward to giving our Gouda a try once it is matured.

This cheesemaking workshop and experience hosted by Leon was simply amazing, beyond my expectations and had my girlfriend and I smiling the entire time. Leon's knowledge of cheesemaking, the selection of samplers, and his instructions made this an immersive and fun date for us both. Not to mention the kitchen itself was gorgeous. We had such a lovely time! You were a fun and gracious host and it was 5 hours of informative and casual mixed which made the process of learning enjoyable. Perhaps a more interactive approach where everyone gets a turn to participate in the process, be it scooping out curds or pouring the milk might have enhanced the experience.  We hope our Camembert stash is humming along ..cheesily.  Thanks again for a wonderful experience! We had a wonderful class with Leon. He came to our home loaded with cheesemaking supplies, cheese treats, wine and wonderful stories. We learned how to make fresh mozzarella, burrata and Gouda! Leon is so knowledgeable, interesting and easy going. I would highly recommend to anyone looking for a great gift idea - we did this with another couple, instead of buying each other presents we don't need. I am thinking of doing this as a team building activity with my colleagues at work as well. Anyone who likes cheese will surely enjoy. Leon was excellent and explained the process well as he went along but he needs to speak more clearly. At times he was very hard to hear. I enjoyed tasting the various cheese samples but I felt the class was too pricy.

​Leon was very accommodating in coordinating dates where I was able to surprise my husband for his 50th birthday yesterday with a private class at Leon’s home…and it was on his actual birthday. Leon had everything prepped for us and the next 3 1/2 hours were filled with hands-on tutorial on how to make mozzarella and provolone cheeses, shared his knowledge on cheese, exchanged interesting stories while sampled other cheeses that we have never heard of or tasted before.
